January 21 and 22 a group of people who have experience in playback training, playdates and workshops from Winnipeg and Saskatchewan trained with Armand to deepen our capacity to embody stories and express them artistically. We opened the doors to our workshop in a rehearsal. Individuals and organizations who have supported the development of playback in Winnipeg were invited to have a first hand experience of a playback workshop performance. The personal stories told filled the room with heart to heart connection, laughter, and even some awe.We are grateful to all those who saw the potential for playback to build empathy and community connection in Winnipeg and on a winter-y afternoon felt the magic of playback for themselves.
